I am an 18-year-old Young Rider with big Dressage goals! I am currently a working student for my Coach, Rebecca Cowden (Region 1 New Jersey), and have been working for her full-time for the past year and a half in New Jersey and Wellington. This is my 4th season in Wellington for the winter season. For the unforeseeable future, I am excited to focus exclusively on my riding, continuing with competitions, and my KWPN, IL Divo’s training. I bought “Divo” when he was 5 years old while my family was living in The Netherlands. We both gained lots of miles competing in The NL and
it was a pleasure to learn from some of the best! We moved back to the US in the summer of 2020 and found ourselves back with Rebecca Cowden, who I had previously trained with on my Quarter Horse.

Divo and I continued our education together and we have come so far in the past 4 years and I couldn't be more proud. It has certainly been rewarding doing all the training myself. My plan for this year is to move up to U25 with him and one day compete in the senior Grand Prix at the highest level together! This winter season, ‘Divo’, and I are focusing on gaining more miles in the CDI ring at the Young Rider level. We aim to do 2 or 3 CDIYs, while also focusing on moving toward the Grand Prix. We have been working on strengthening the GP work and plan to do our first Intermediate A in the
middle of this upcoming Wellington season. My big goal for the season is to qualify for the Festival of Champions for the U25 National Championship.
